"That I may know Him, and the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings, being made conformable unto His death".Philippians 3:10
Get to know God for yourself. It
is all right to know what your grandmother said about Him; it is fine to
understand what the preacher said about Him, but you have to come to the
altar for yourself and bow your knees and come to God through Jesus Christ.
You must know Him for yourself.
When you get to know Him, you discover that God is good and merciful,
forgiving and reconciling, reaching out to the lost.
Once you get to know Him you cannot live as you used to live. You cannot
act as you used to act, because to know Him is to love Him and to know
Him is to bow down and worship Him. To know Him is to say yes to God.
